This is the best lip-gloss that the three women testers have ever tried. It was a hit in every respect: size, consistency, colors, texture, container and applicator!
The size is just a little smaller than a pen so it’s easy to find in a purse or drawer. The handle of the wand is a shiny platinum color and the bottom of the container is clear all the way around so that it plainly shows the color of the gloss.
There are 21 lip-gloss colors in all: pale and sweet colors like Champagne and Petticoat; vivid colors like Burnt Red and Pomegranate; rich colors like Velvet Crush and Hoochi Mama.
The consistency of this gloss is perfect! It’s creamy, but not gloppy. It’s soft, but not sticky. It smoothes on and gently stains your lips and gives just the barest hint of shine. This is not the blind your eyes shine that makes your lips look like plastic and feel like you are wearing a half-inch of stickiness. This is the subtle shine of moist lips… naturally moist lips. To all three of us, that is far more appealing than lips that look like the shine on the hood of a car.
The applicator is a nice little fuzzy end that is soft and gentle. You can feel and see the gentle textured applicator as the gloss formulation is light rather than gooey. The applicator never gets overloaded, but if you want more gloss, just dip it back into the container.
Rather than being clear, this lip-gloss is like a very light and moist cream. It is almost sheer, but not quite. It adds color, and just the tiniest, freshest, natural-looking shine to your lips. This is great to dab on your lips and go, or to wear over lipstick to add richness. Use a darker gloss to deepen a light lipstick shade or create a new color by applying a light gloss color over a darker lipstick. The ingredients are natural and simple: castor oil, organic coconut oil, sun bleached beeswax, castor wax, soybean oil, vitamin E, organic essential oil of sweet orange, mica, iron oxides and titanium dioxides.
