Toss these blends together and put them into marked jars. Keep them in your cupboard to spice up just about anything at a moment’s notice.
5 Tablespoons paprika
2 Tablespoons dried onion flakes
2 Tablespoons garlic flakes
1 Tablespoon cayenne powder (or less for a milder blend)
1 ½ teaspoon each dried basil, dried oregano
1 ½ teaspoons ground white pepper
Mix and store in a sealed jar in a dark cupboard. Dredge meat or fish in blend before grilling. By adding varying amounts of sour cream, mayonnaise or yogurt, you can make a spicy dip or sauce for vegetables.
