DRIED ORANGE & LEMON PEEL

DIRECTIONS:

Wash and dry three oranges / lemons.

Using a vegetable peeler, remove the skin, leaving the white behind on the fruit. Spread out the peelings on paper towels and let air dry.

When completely dry, put into containers that you can close tightly to keep fresh.

Puree or mince for some recipes, add whole peels to flavor other recipes, or float in drinks as a pretty garnish.

You can try this with grapefruit, blood oranges and lime peels too.
