Is this sweet or sassy? It’s got a kick, but the heat doesn’t get in the way of your trying to figure out the ingredients and whether its more sweet, or spicy….or….. Oh well, it just plain GOOD!
While the creators of this yummy sweet and sassy sauce can created some pretty hot sauces, this one is called Warm…and it’s just that: a tad warm. So, for those that are faint of heart where too much heat is involved, this one ‘tingles’ your tongue, rather than making it smoke or go completely up in flames. Above all, the wonderful sweet-sassy-sweet-spicy flavor is predominant so that you keep dipping your spoon or your finger into it!
The judges gave it first place winning status in the ‘America’s Best 2007’ awards for Mild Hot Sauces. They tasted hundreds of sauces, and this one was remarkable to them to in that you can’t pin down that elusive and intriguing great flavor!
Maybe the ingredients will solve the sweet-sassy-spicy dilemma: water, sugar, vinegar, tomatoes, corn syrup solids, mustard seed, ancho peppers, salt, molasses, cayenne pepper, Habanero pepper, onion, spices, natural flavor, citric acid and xanthum gum. Well, it’s a good balance between between everthing, so I guess that it will be up to your particular palate to determine which taste sensation predominates.
