Massage Bar Shea Butter Luffa Soaps

We hope that you can see the bits of luffa in the soap in the image. We know that you can see the vivid wrappers that surround the lavender, spearmint and orange luffa bars: simple, and yet a simply stunning contrast to the hand made, textured soaps.

What is a luffa soap? It is a soap that you can massage and scrub with in the bath or shower. Ground up luffa is mixed into saponified oils of olive, coconut, palm and shea butter and then swirled with essential oils and natural mineral coloring to create the three distinctive luffa bars. Moisturize, soothe, soften and scrub while you shower or bathe.

Each bar is a nice 8-ounce handful. Man or woman… grab the bar and slide it over your body: no need for a washcloth or scrubby….it’s all in the soap! For those tougher and dirtier areas like the bottom of feet, this soap acts almost like a pumice stone: soaping and scouring out the dirt all at the same time!

For more delicate skin or areas, we found that lathering the soap in our hands and then hand-washing was the answer. Little flecks of luffa was mixed in with the lather and floated gently on our skin without any irritation.

The most fragrant of the three soaps is the spearmint. Zingy and fresh, this would be a good-morning wakeup soap…or one to use after a hot day or hard workout. The lavender scent is soft and barely there: a lovely soap to use when you want to be clean without a lingering fragrance. The orange aroma is fruity…and we found that kids loved it: what a way to get them to easily and happily scrub off the day’s playful grime!

Each bar is gentle enough for a face…and yet tough enough for dirty knees or feet. Handmade, without chemicals, dyes or toxic additives, this is a great all around bar for the whole family: dirty or not! The whole Pure Zing team loved all of them!
