Now this is an unusual cookie! This is called a truffle, and is in a cookie shape, but it has a somewhat fudge-like consistency. In fact, if you are of an age to remember Tootsie Rolls, this is very much like a very soft Tootsie Roll (in a cookie shape), except we’re pretty sure it’s much healthier!

Although dark chocolate in color, this cookie has the distinctive carob flavor, which our team feels is sort of like a fruity chocolate. To keep the fruit quality tamed and the flavor rich and full like a chocolate fudge truffle, the owner has added some unusual ingredients that work beautifully! The ingredients in this cookie are: carob powder, almonds, organic agave nectar, organic cold pressed olive oil, organic dried olives and sea salt.

No, you don’t taste the olives or the olive oil, but their richness works marvelously to give a full, deep chocolate experience to your mouth. Three inches across and a full 2-ounces, this moist, fudge cookie is 100% living raw food, gluten free, GMO-free, vegan and without soy. There is no sugar added…just the use of organic agave nectar.
