Cocktails to Sip in the Garden
Cheers to the weekend! We’re celebrating with a medley of homemade floral cocktails : ) Join in on the fun!
We started by making three floral simple syrups, that happen to be quite simple to make! We chose Lavender, Rose and a Hibiscus Lemongrass. Finding the flowers is the hard part, but after that you just combine with water and honey or sugar and simmer in a saucepan for 5-7 recipes.
The next step is prepping your bar! Ours is stocked with fresh lime juice, homemade basil ice cubes, crushed ice, vanilla bean pods, Boylan gingerale, a muddler and liquor of course.
Now the fun part.. Our first and favorite Garden Cocktail is a Vanilla Rose Sparkler–made with rose syrup, prosecco, vanilla bean and basil ice cubes.
Next, we put our muddler to work and made fresh Lavender Mint Juleps.
Last but not least, for a drink on the sweeter side, we made a Hibiscus Lemongrass Fizz. This bright cocktail calls for Hibiscus Lemongrass Syrup, ginger ale, lime juice and vodka.
Happy weekend!
