I’m not very big on New Year’s resolutions.

I am however very big on writing down goals and dreams. But I don’t just write them down on Jan 1st. Instead, I write them daily.  I believe that everyday is a new opportunity to start fresh. Plus, it helps me to live more in the moment.

So, one of my goals for the year is to share more behind the scenes info about what’s happening at purely elizabeth.

Here’s a look at our first week back from the holidays which has been packed with excitement…

We filmed our brand new Purely Oatmeal Video (to be released on Monday)!

Here is Eve, my extremely talented director of photography/editor/best friend from 1st grade, getting up close and personal with our oatmeal bags.

Celebrating the finished video at Toro in NYC, an amazing tapas restaurant with great decor and even better veggies (definitely get the roasted yellow carrots below).

We received an incredible care package from our friends at Late July filled with their organic, gluten free, non-GMO chips….YUM. We quickly devoured the Sub Lime one.

And most exciting….we found out that we are now a Whole Foods Local Producer Loan recipient!

I am so thrilled to have Whole Foods support in bringing our new ancient grain oatmeals nationwide. I feel beyond grateful for the partnership and look forward to an incredibly successful and challenging year ahead.

There’s a new seed in town. Its name is kaniwa and it’s one the many powerhouse ingredients in our new Organic 6-Grain Hot Cereal!

While kaniwa is very similar to quinoa nutrition wise, it’s about half the size and doesn’t contain the saponins that give quinoa a slightly bitter flavor when not rinsed.
